Appetizer
These bites have full on flavor, and are super easy to prepare!
Cranberry Walnut Cheddar blends tart cranberries grown in Bandon with crisp walnuts and a our smooth creamy cheddar. The resulting berry hue is just lovely, and the cranberries add just a touch of sweet-tartness.
Mini-naan make the perfect base for this quick appetizer. Naan is a soft, pillowy flatbread from India. It's very versatile, and stays tender and soft after being heated in the oven, making it a lovely base for all kinds of delicious bites. You could also swap in small pitas, silver dollar pancakes, or other flatbread that is about a quarter-inch thick.
Before we sprinkle on a generous serving of shredded Cranberry Walnut Cheddar, we lay down a base of cranberry butter. Yummm. Several of our gift boxes will arrive with a delicious cranberry butter made with Bandon-grown cranberries. You can also use sweetened cranberry sauce.
A few minutes in a hot oven is all that's needed to get these bites onto the table. We cut them in half to make them more maneagable as finger food, but feel free to keep them whole!
