Vampire Slayer sandwiched into Garlic Bread makes for the ultimate grilled cheese!
This delicious grilled cheese combines garlic bread, Vampire Slayer cheddar and our creamy Monterey Jack. This is really more of a non-recipe recipe, but the addition of fresh compound garlic butter will ramp up the flavor in an intense way. The other big tip here is to create thin thin slices of cheese so they melt fully. I used a vegetable peeler and peeled my way through a block!
To make a compound garlic butter: smash together a quarter cup soft butter, 1 tablespoon dried parsley, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. I used a mortar and pestle but a fork and sturdy bowl works great!
Slather with abandon onto your favorite bread. I love a sturdy but fresh sourdough for this one. Place bread butter side down and add a generous layer of thinly sliced Vampire Slayer and Monterey Jack in the middle.
Grill over medium heat until golden and melty, and put it in your face!
