At Face Rock Creamery, we take pride in every order we ship, from our award-winning Cheddar curds to artisan cheese blocks, to thoughtfully curated gift boxes! Our goal is to ensure your cheese arrives in the best condition possible so you can enjoy it just as it was intended.
Our cheeses are made from the freshest milk sourced from local dairy farms, and every item is cut, wrapped, or packaged with care. Because cheese is a perishable product, we take extra steps to protect it in transit, including using ice packs and insulation. These materials add weight and size to each package, which affects shipping costs, but they ensure your cheese arrives fresh, flavorful, and safe to eat.
Below you’ll find answers to our most frequently asked shipping questions.
When will my order ship?
- Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours.
- To ensure the quickest and safest transit for perishables, we generally ship Monday through Wednesday. This prevents your order from being delayed in a warehouse over the weekend.
- During peak seasons (such as the holidays), please allow additional time for processing.
You’ll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed, and another email with tracking information once it ships.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
We currently ship Ups Overnight, UPS 2 Day, and UPS 3 Day for perishable items, as they provide the fastest and most reliable service.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary based on:
- Destination (shipping zone)
- Package size and weight
- Delivery speed
Typically, shipping ranges between $20–$80. You’ll see the exact shipping charge at checkout.
Where can I find my tracking number?
Your tracking number will be included in your shipping confirmation email. You’ll also receive updates when your order is out for delivery.
If you created an account during checkout, you can log in anytime to see your order history and tracking details.
What if my package hasn’t arrived?
- If tracking shows no updates, please contact us directly for assistance.
- If your tracking number shows “delivered” but you don’t have the package, please contact the carrier first, as they may have additional delivery information.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
If your package has already shipped, we are happy to contact FedEx and do our best to reroute it. Please note:

We will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided.

If rerouting is possible, delivery, return, and re-delivery charges will apply.

We also cannot assume responsibility for time-in-transit damage caused by address errors.
We are unable to replace items that perish due to the recipient being unavailable at the time of delivery. Our boxes are clearly marked “Perishable” on the outside, and we are not responsible for items received but not opened. Please ensure that you or your recipient will be available on the expected delivery date.
What if my package arrives late or damaged?

If your package is delayed, check the cheese upon arrival. If it doesn’t meet our quality standards, reach out to us and we’ll make it right.

If your package is damaged, please email us at info@facerockcreamery.com with details and photos. This helps us improve our packing process and ensures you receive a replacement or resolution.
What if the ice packs have melted?
It’s normal for ice packs to melt during shipping. As long as your cheese arrives on time, it will still be safe and delicious. Our cheeses are hearty and designed to travel well. For best storage practices, check the card included in your box.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States. We are unable to ship cheese across borders due to import restrictions.
