Fromage Blanc is Versatile and Delicious
Fromage Blanc is such a heavenly fresh cheese! It’s light and airy in both texture and flavor (and calories too, clocking in at just 40 per ounce). It’s a versatile choice for spreading, baking, pairing with seasonal fruit, and our favorite use: as a dip for artisan chocolate bars, Trader Joe Dunker Cookies, and Effie’s Cocoa Biscuits!
Here is a spread we made for Valentine's Day featuring three of our Fromage Blanc Flavors and an abundantly delicious selection of cookies, dried and fresh fruit, chocolate, jams, and sweet crackers.
We went a-googling to see how our food friends like to use Fromage Blanc and came across a gorgeous Alsace-style fromage blanc tart from Jenni of The Gingered Whisk (@gingeredwhisk on the socials). We wanted to give her recipe a try with our Classic Fromage. The results were divine! It's airy, and although it's not overly sweet, the top has a lovely caramelized note.
