Have you chaffled yet? A chaffle is a low-carb, protein-packed egg and cheese waffle concoction.
Cheese curds are baby cheddar bits pulled right out of the vat. High moisture and high milkfat makes these chunks of cheese goodness melt in no time flat. Our special garlic seasoning packs just the right punch of flavor and has made these curds one of our top sellers.
Mixing up chaffles is as simple as beating an egg, and mixing in a half cup of crumbled cheese curds or finely grated block cheddar and waffling!
1 egg, beaten
½ cup Face Rock crumbled curds
Chopped chives or onion (optional)
Chopped ham or bacon (optional)
Preheat waffle iron
Mix egg and cheese
Spray waffle iron with cooking spray
Pour 1/4 cup batter (for mini) or 1/2 cup batter (standard size) onto waffle iron.
Close lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from waffle iron and let sit for one minute before serving.
Add in whatever you’d like! We recommend finely dicing
any vegetables and precooking meats so that your chaffle cooks quickly and
evenly.
