There’s nothing better than a warm, melty sandwich made with simple, quality ingredients. This grilled cheese starts with hearty homemade bread, layers in rich, smokey Face Rock Cheddar, and adds a touch of sweetness with your favorite jam. The result is a perfectly balanced bite that’s savory, sweet, and deeply satisfying comfort food with a little extra flair.

Ingredients

4-6 Slices of bread
2 Blocks Face Rock Creamery Smokey Cheddar
Jam of choice
Butter

Directions

Directions:

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Slice the Smokey Cheddar into medium pieces and set aside.

Lay out your bread. On one slice, layer the cheddar. On the other slice, spread a generous spoonful of jam of your choice. We chose Blackberry!

Press the two sides together into a sandwich.

Butter the outside of the top slice.

Place the sandwich butter-side-down onto the hot skillet. While it cooks, butter the other side.

Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and melty.

Slice, serve, and enjoy that sweet-savory, cheesy goodness!
